Benefits
As a local member you are eligible to vote on local chapter issues. Your dues payment helps to
- defray operational expenses for the chapter (postage and mailings about chapter events, etc)
- provides "seed money" for chapter activities including the Annual NAASC Chicago Back-to-School Beach Party, the Annual Christmas Scholarship Benefit Program, and Networking Socials
As a national member you:
- are eligible to vote on local, regional, and national chapter issues
- are eligible to hold an office on the local (Executive Committee), regional, and national level
- will join a network of more than 14,000+ Spelman alumnae, representing 49 states and 25 countries
- will receive correspondence directly from NAASC and the Office of Alumnae Affairs that will keep you connected, informed, and involved with Spelman College
